On April 16, 2026, the Eurode Business Centre had the privilege to host an international group of the Interreg-Euro project “Borderlabs” for a study visit.
The experts from border regions in Central Europe received detailed information about the Public Body, Cross-Border Work, and the services of the border information point. In addition, various cross-border projects in areas such as public safety and order, culture and education, urban development, and cross-border job placement were highlighted.
The meeting concluded with a short walk along the border over the Nieuwstraat/Neustraße, during which a piece of history about the special border between Kerkrade and Herzogenrath was shared.
