In the Eurode Business Center, right on the Dutch-German border, a German-Dutch team of employment agents is now available to anyone looking for or offering a job in the neighboring country. On September 6, 2016, the cross-border job placement service Grensarbeid / Grenzarbeit was officially opened.
The service will always be staffed in the mornings by employment agents from the Aachen-Düren Employment Agency, UWV, Podium24, and Werkgevers Servicepunt Parkstad Limburg.
A total of five employment agents and two administrative staff will be present on-site in changing shifts in the mornings. Their task is to accompany job seekers in finding suitable employment in the neighboring country. This includes job placement and assistance with the creation of application documents as well as professional recognition (if necessary).
