Since then, our collaboration has accelerated. Vacancies were shared across the border, candidates were introduced, selected, and hired exactly as cross-border collaboration is intended. In addition, we set up extra promotional activities together for the open day that took place at the end of November at the penal institution Sittard.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, Grensarbeid and the GrensInfoPunt were invited again to PI Sittard. After enjoying a delicious soup and a sandwich, PI employees residing in Belgium or Germany received practical and up-to-date information about taxes and social security. In a relaxed and accessible session, questions were answered, and employees left with renewed knowledge and a goodie bag. Additionally, the &#8220;employee recruits employee&#8221; initiative with an attractive recruitment bonus was brought to the attention of staff once more, hoping to strengthen this effort and also increase the organization&#8217;s brand awareness in Belgium and Germany.<\/p>\n<p>We sincerely thank Marjo and Shayna for their hospitality.
